Products and services
We design, build and brand digital products as one collective, so strategy, interface and code are shaped by the same people.
Engineering innovation
This core collective brings together more than two decades of engineering experience, with a collective contribution spanning 100+ successfully delivered projects across diverse products and technology landscapes.
Yet experience and execution alone do not define this team. Membership is earned through the ability to think beyond the prescribed, innovate with purpose and remain grounded in what is practically achievable.

Design thinking
Our UX specialists bring years of practice grounded in the fundamentals of human-centred design, with the foresight to anticipate what lies beyond the prevailing landscape.
They do not follow trends; they discern them, employ them as persuaders and move beyond them to design for what is yet to come.
At the heart of their thinking is a persistent pursuit of simplicity: to understand deeply, anticipate intelligently and design for a future that feels effortlessly familiar.
What this covers

- Editorial and content experiences
Visual branding
Branding is not merely the creation of digital assets that give an entity recognition.
It is the articulation of what it stands for, how it communicates with the world and, ultimately, how it makes people perceive and feel about what it represents.
We bring strategy and execution together to create a digital presence that is considered, coherent and consequential.

Arivain Lab
Where we test ideas before clients do.
Our in-house innovation lab is where new tools, interfaces and product ideas are prototyped, broken and rebuilt. Work that proves itself here becomes the foundation for client products.
From understanding to evolution
Our five-step process brings together strategy, design, and engineering to create seamless, integrated digital experiences. Every stage is driven by collaboration, proactive thinking, and a commitment to delivering meaningful results.
Step 1: Understand
We understand your business, explore user needs, and identify the challenges that matter most. This foundation helps us define the right problems and uncover meaningful opportunities.
Step 2: Build
We transform insights into thoughtful designs and robust solutions, combining creativity, technology, and engineering to bring ideas to life.
Step 3: Evolve
We validate, test, and iterate continuously to improve usability, strengthen performance, and ensure every solution meets its intended purpose.
Step 4: Deliver
We deliver reliable, high-quality solutions with a focus on performance, timelines, and attention to detail, ensuring that every outcome meets expectations.
Step 5: Support
Our partnership continues beyond delivery. We provide ongoing support, adapt to evolving needs, and help your solutions remain relevant, reliable, and ready for what's next.
Frequently asked questions
How engagements start, run and hand over.
How does an engagement start?
We begin with a short call to understand the product, users, business constraints and current stage. If there is a fit, we propose a focused discovery phase or a clearly scoped first piece of work, with deliverables, responsibilities, timing and commercial terms set out before work begins.
How long does a prototype take compared with a full product build?
A focused prototype usually takes two to six weeks, depending on the number of flows and the level of user testing required. A production-ready first release commonly takes three to six months; products with complex architectures, integrations, security requirements or migration work can take longer. We provide a delivery range after discovery and update it as decisions are made.
What pricing models do you offer?
We use fixed-scope pricing when requirements and acceptance criteria are stable, and time-and-materials pricing when the work needs room to evolve. For longer programmes, we can provide a dedicated cross-functional team billed monthly. The proposal states what is included, how changes are handled and which costs, such as third-party services, are separate.
Who owns the intellectual property?
The client owns the custom work product created and paid for under the engagement, as set out in the services agreement. Arivain retains ownership of pre-existing tools, reusable methods and general know-how, while giving the client the rights needed to use any such elements included in the deliverables. We identify third-party and open-source components where relevant.
What does handover include?
Handover normally includes source files and code, design files, technical and operating documentation, environment and deployment notes, and a walkthrough with the receiving team. We also agree on access transfers and a defined support period for resolving handover issues. Ongoing maintenance or team onboarding can be arranged separately.
Can you work across time zones?
Yes. We plan a reliable daily overlap for decisions and working sessions, then use written updates, recorded walkthroughs and documented decisions for asynchronous work. The exact meeting window and response expectations are agreed at the start so distributed teams are not dependent on constant calls.
Is there a minimum engagement size?
Our typical minimum is a two-week discovery or design sprint, or an equivalent clearly defined engagement. We generally do not take isolated tasks that require only a few hours, but we can start small when the work creates a useful decision, prototype or technical assessment. Minimum budgets vary with the team required and will be confirmed before a proposal.
Do you work with early-stage startups?
Yes, including teams that have a strong problem definition but have not yet finalised the product. We can help test assumptions, narrow the first release, prototype critical flows and choose an architecture that fits the next stage without overbuilding. We expect a founder or product owner to be available for timely decisions and access to prospective users where research is part of the work.
